August 1, 2004 - Wildwood Soul O Silk
took home first place paycheck at Okanagan Summer Slide when she won the
Breeders' Classic Derby. The Breeders' Classic is a program for breeders of
reining horses. Silk was the result of a 1999 breeding through the program. She
is the daughter
of
Wildwood Tamarac, who collected Dam Awards
for Silk's win, and Dox West Gray, who was subscribed to the program in 1998.
Wildwood Soul O Silk was reserve Champion of the Breeders' Classic Futurity in 2002 and Champion of the Breeders' Classic Derby in 2003. The pretty little mare with the huge expressive eyes also competed in the Working Cowhorse at Okanagan Summer Slide.
